So I'm finally able to upload to videos! I'm excited because this is better than posting individual boards. We went a little too crazy on this show, and our boards were very animated. I remember reading this script, and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with this shot. So here he is, Ironfist doin his thing.

@00:14Well, the first thing to go is stick to the story. Your goal is to continue to move the story forward in as best a way as you possible can. I'm still learning this myself! If something pulls away from the story, or the character, than it doesn't belong. In this shot, Danny was frustrated at himself, and this Dragon, so I wanted a shot where we could all break out together, and could root for him as destroy's this thing!
After that, it's the nuts and bolts. Animation is all about timing and placement. Where you place an object, and how fast it's moving will have the most impact on how it looks. Mess around with this, you'll find out stuff looks and moves better just by where you put it! Study anatomy and get to know the human figure so that you can draw it as fast as possible. There is so much more, but that's a lot for now.
