Just a quick sketch on lunch for today. I sometimes dream of drawings, and this one I had in my brain last night. I wanted to do a drawing where I could play with some composition as an exercise. I'm not sure if I like the window or not, so I added it anyway, what do you guys think? I also made her grey, is she a good queen, or a bad queen?

Amazing composition, I really really love the shapes and how it all works so naturally. You know what you are looking at right away, only noticing the actual abstractness of it later on.

I like the simplicity. I think the really strong box around the whole image may be a little distracting, but it works; also, definitely a bad queen
