Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Hello good peoples of the Earth! I feel like I need to update my journal, considering that my last journal was to say happy Fathers day! Yeah, so I'm not that current these days:} Life in Cali continues to go well. It's been freaking hot lately, but I'm not complaining. If I were back home in Chicago right now, I'd be depressed because the summer is almost over.
We're almost about to wrap up Season 2 of the Super Hero Squad, which makes me both sad, and excited. Sad in that we have an awesome team, and yeah, it's a silly show, but we kill to make it good! I'm also excited to see what the future holds as well. I don't yet know what I'm going to be doing next, but I get excited to thinking about it.
Speaking of the future, I'll be attending the CTN in Burbank this coming November, so if you live out here, please to on by! I'll have about 6 new prints available, along with some other goodies, and we're also going to be doing free sketches as well, that's right $free.99! We'll be setting up a booth this time around, and hopefully have a better con presence that usual (hopefully.) If not, then we'll have a jolly good time anyway;}
