So, last week I wrote this journal about being better at drawing jusdog.deviantart.com/journal/ It came right from my heart and I feel very strongly about it. But that was the emotional response to a frustration that I've had since I picked up a pencil. Now it's time to put in work! It's time to get practical. Monday mornings are typically when I like to get the social media's in my life going, and when I clicked on twitter, my good buddy Chris Oatley had a cool post about Pursuing Artistic Growth. How ironic right? I'm reading it now, and I got about half way down, and I just felt like I have to share. This guy is a beast in the art of "knowing thy self" artistically, and it this post is already helping. You guys should check it out, and keep fighting the good fight.

Update on Storyboard class!

It's been a looooooong time, and I'm sorry. I've been as busy as a one armed paper hanger, but that's an excuse. I've been around, but just browsing. I have some cool animatics from Avengers Season 1 that I'll post when I get a chance. I have them, but they have the timecodes on them, and they drive me crazy! So I gotta export my own animatics, but I only have one arm! And I'm a paper hanger! Anyway, we have made a lot of headway lately on the class. I will no longer encourage aspiring artists to attend art school. I just won't do it. Unless you're given a full ride scholarship (or have parents with money to burn), attending art school is a waste of your money.
